6-13-25   THOUGHTS

What we do together each morning is an  EFFORT to RENEW OUR MINDS!  We fellowship in God’s word for our mutual benefit.  We share a desire to be newer and more effective than we were yesterday. We are CULTIVATING  ZEALOUS HEARTS to praise our God!  Together, we seek growth in ourselves and for the Kingdom of  God!  We want to be like God,  like His son Jesus.  We need to lay aside what Paul calls “the lusts of deceit.”  We seek spiritual lives over fleshly living.  Be encouraged today!  Be renewed and NEW!  Go be salt and light!

Eph 4:19-24     and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.  20  But you did not learn Christ in this way,  21  if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus,  22  that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,  23  and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,  24  and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

A Prayer:
Father God, help us to be renewed in our minds and hearts and spirits.  Revive us each day to see souls and promote the story of Jesus the Christ.  Give us power, and boldness and zeal as we live  joyfully for You.   Remove all of the self as we die daily to this world.  In the shadow of the cross, may we lift up our eyes to see Your Glory, Remind us always of what it means to be Your children.  May we thirst for the living water,  that we might have eternal life with You!  We praise and thank You in Jesus name,   Amen.
